Great value for the price
I was worried about the low price, but the quality is surprisingly good. Very little dust in the bag, and they rinse clean easily. Highly recommend for planted tanks.

Good product, minor breakage
Overall a solid filter media. A few pieces were broken upon arrival, but nothing that affects performance. The bacteria colonization seems to be happening quickly.

My goldfish love it
Crystal clear water since I switched to these nano stones. They fit perfectly in my hang-on-back filter without restricting flow. Will buy again.

Excellent biological filtration
These ceramic rings are fantastic. My ammonia levels dropped to zero within a week of adding them to my canister filter. The porous structure seems very high quality.

Works great in saltwater too
Using this in my reef sump. It provides excellent surface area for beneficial bacteria. No issues with salinity or corrosion after three months.

Easy to use for beginners
As someone new to aquariums, this made setting up my nitrogen cycle much easier. Instructions were clear, and the results speak for themselves.
Q: What is the approximate size of each ring?
A: The nano rings vary slightly due to the manufacturing process, but they generally measure between 10mm to 15mm in diameter, making them suitable for most standard filter baskets.
Q: Is this safe for shrimp tanks?
A: Absolutely. Our ceramic rings are made from natural clay and are completely non-toxic, making them safe for sensitive species like shrimp, snails, and fry.
Q: Do I need to rinse these before putting them in my tank?
A: Yes, we recommend gently rinsing the ceramic rings with dechlorinated water or old tank water to remove any loose dust before installation. Avoid using tap water as chlorine can kill beneficial bacteria.
Q: Can I use this in a saltwater reef setup?
A: Yes, this filter media is fully compatible with both freshwater and saltwater environments. It provides an excellent surface for nitrifying bacteria essential for reef stability.
Q: How often should I replace this filter media?
A: Ceramic rings are designed for long-term use and typically do not need replacement unless they become physically clogged or damaged. Simply rinse them in tank water during routine maintenance to keep them effective.
