Incredibly lightweight yet sturdy
I was skeptical about carbon fiber for a ground stake, but this thing is rock solid. It held my heavy surf rod perfectly in sandy soil without bending. The weight savings compared to my old steel stand is noticeable when hiking to remote spots.

Solid construction
The carbon fiber feels premium and the joints are tight. I deducted one star only because the carrying pouch is a bit thin, but the holder itself is flawless.

Great product, tricky in hard clay
Works fantastic in sand and soft dirt. I tried using it in hard clay near a riverbank and had to pre-drill a hole with a stick first. Once inserted, it didn't budge. Excellent build quality overall.
