Solved my leak issue

Perfect for HVAC repairs
This tape is incredibly strong. I used it to seal some leaks in my basement ductwork and it held up immediately. The fiberglass reinforcement makes it tear-resistant.

Strong but stiff
The tape is very durable and waterproof. Because of the fiberglass cloth, it is a bit stiff to work with on curved surfaces, but once applied, it is rock solid.

Great adhesion
Works well on my range hood exhaust pipe. It sticks very well even in slightly greasy conditions after cleaning the surface. Deducted one star only because the roll is quite tight and hard to start.
Q: What is the shelf life of the adhesive?
A: If stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, the adhesive retains its optimal bonding properties for up to 2 years from the date of manufacture.
Q: Can this be painted over?
A: While the aluminum surface can technically accept paint, we do not recommend painting over it as it may reduce the heat reflectivity and the adhesion of the paint may vary depending on the type used.
Q: Does it leave residue if removed?
A: This tape is designed for permanent or semi-permanent application. Removing it after long-term exposure to heat may leave some adhesive residue, which can be cleaned with an appropriate solvent.
Q: Is this tape safe to use on active gas lines?
A: This tape is designed for sealing joints on exhaust pipes, ducts, and external insulation. It should not be used to repair the internal flow path of active gas lines or as a substitute for professional plumbing repairs.
Q: Is it suitable for outdoor AC units?
A: Yes, the tape is waterproof and UV resistant enough for outdoor applications such as sealing insulation on outdoor AC piping.
