Less stringing as advertised
I usually have to tweak retraction settings heavily with PETG, but this filament printed cleanly with default settings. Highly recommended for functional parts.

Tough and reliable
Great upgrade from the previous generation. The parts feel tougher and less brittle. Only giving 4 stars because I wish it came in more color options.

Easy to print with
As a beginner, I found this very forgiving. It adheres well to the PEI plate and doesn't smell bad during printing. Great value for the quality.

Perfect for outdoor prototypes
I printed a garden sensor housing with this new 2025 version, and the weather resistance is noticeable. No warping even after a week of rain and sun exposure.

RFID feature is a game changer
The automatic parameter loading via RFID on my X1 Carbon saved me so much time. The print quality is consistent with very little stringing right out of the box.

Best PETG for professional use
We use this for client prototypes that need to withstand shipping and outdoor testing. The drop resistance mentioned in the description is accurate.
Q: How does the weather resistance compare to PLA?
A: This PETG formulation offers significantly better weather, UV, and water resistance compared to standard PLA. It is suitable for outdoor applications where PLA would degrade or become brittle over time.
Q: Is the spool reusable or recyclable?
A: The spool is designed to be reusable for refilling with third-party filaments. Bambu Lab also offers a recycling program in select regions for empty spools.
