Essential upgrade for engineering materials
If you plan on printing anything with glass fiber or carbon fiber, this is a must-have. The original brass nozzles wear out too fast with these materials. This assembly is robust and reliable.

Great quality but runs slightly hotter
The build quality is excellent and feels very durable. I noticed I had to adjust my temperature profile slightly compared to the brass nozzle, but once dialed in, the prints are flawless.

Perfect replacement for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle assembly specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA. It has held up perfectly without any wear after several spools. Installation on my X1 Carbon was straightforward.

A: No, this hotend assembly is specifically designed for the X1, X1 Carbon, P1P, and P1S series. The A1 mini uses a different quick-swap nozzle system.
Q: Does this come with a new thermal paste applied?
A: The thermistor and heater cartridge are pre-installed and tested at the factory. No additional thermal paste application is required by the user during installation.
