Best bang for your buck

Perfect upgrade for my Ender 3

Consistent extrusion

I use this primarily for ABS and PETG. The heat distribution is uniform, resulting in smooth layers and strong adhesion between them. The 70W cartridge brings it to temp faster than my old 40W one.

Great quality, minor fitment issue

The build quality is top-notch and heats up very quickly. I had to slightly adjust the fan shroud to get it to fit, but once installed, it works like a charm. Good value for the price.

Good but runs hot

The performance is good, but the heatsink gets quite warm even with the fan on high. Make sure your cooling setup is adequate. Otherwise, print quality has improved.

A: Yes, the thermistor is a standard NTC 100K type and can be replaced independently without needing to swap the entire hotend assembly.

Q: What is the maximum safe temperature for continuous printing?

A: While the component can reach up to 300°C, we recommend continuous printing at temperatures up to 260°C for optimal longevity and safety. Higher temperatures should be used intermittently.

Q: Does this come with thermal paste pre-applied?

A: No, the thermal paste is included in the package but not pre-applied. We recommend applying a thin layer to the heating block interface for best heat transfer results.

Q: Is this compatible with the Creality Ender 3 V2?

A: Yes, this E3D V6 style hotend is fully compatible with the Ender 3 V2, provided you have the appropriate mounting bracket or adapter if your frame differs slightly.
