Durable but requires higher temps
Great quality nozzle that handles abrasive filaments well. Note that you might need to increase your printing temperature slightly compared to brass nozzles due to different thermal conductivity.

Long lasting investment

Essential upgrade for engineering materials
If you are printing with glass-filled nylon or similar tough materials, this is a must-have. It prevents the nozzle orifice from widening over time, ensuring consistent print quality.

Solid build quality
The machining on this nozzle is precise. Fits my E3D V6 hotend perfectly without any leaks. Only giving 4 stars because shipping took a bit longer than expected.

No more clogs!
Since installing this HU nozzle, my clogging issues with composite filaments have disappeared. The internal bore seems very smooth and resistant to material buildup.

Perfect for Carbon Fiber Prints
I switched from a brass nozzle to this hardened steel one specifically for printing with carbon fiber PLA. The difference in wear resistance is night and day. After 500 grams of filament, the nozzle still looks brand new.
Q: Does the package include a gasket or seal?
A: The nozzle is designed to create a metal-to-metal seal when properly tightened against the heat block. A separate gasket is not required or included.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the Prusa MK3S extruder?
A: Yes, this nozzle features a standard M6 thread and is compatible with the Prusa MK3S and most other hotends using M6 nozzles.
Q: How does the hardness compare to a standard brass nozzle?
A: Our hardened steel nozzles are significantly harder than brass, offering approximately 10 times the wear resistance when printing with abrasive composite materials.
Q: What is the maximum operating temperature?
A: This hardened steel nozzle is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, making it suitable for high-temperature engineering polymers.
Q: Can I use this with standard PLA filament?
A: Absolutely. While designed for abrasive filaments, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA, ABS, and PETG. You may just notice slightly slower heat transfer compared to brass.
