Perfect fit for my E3D V6 upgrade
This throat tube fits perfectly into my hotend assembly. The threading is precise, and the PTFE liner seems very smooth, which should help with filament feeding. Great value for the price.

Solved my clogging issues

Good quality, slightly tight threads
The stainless steel quality is excellent and feels durable. The threads were a bit tight initially, but after a few turns, it seated correctly. Works well with 3mm PLA.

Great for 3mm filament users
Hard to find good quality parts for 3mm filament these days. This throat tube works flawlessly. No grinding or jamming so far after 20 hours of printing.

Solid construction
Very sturdy build. I use this for a direct drive setup on my custom printer frame. It holds up well under continuous operation. Only minor point is the liner could be slightly longer.
Q: Does this come with a heatsink or just the throat?
A: This package includes only the throat tube and the integrated heat break. The heatsink, heater block, and nozzle are sold separately.
Q: What is the maximum temperature rating for this throat tube?
A: The stainless steel body can withstand temperatures up to 300°C, making it suitable for PLA, ABS, PETG, and Nylon. The PTFE liner is rated up to 260°C.
Q: Is this compatible with 1.75mm filament?
A: No, this specific model is designed exclusively for 3.0mm filament. Using 1.75mm filament will result in poor extrusion and potential jams.
Q: Can I use this for remote drive setups?
A: Yes, this throat tube is designed to be compatible with both remote (Bowden) and direct drive extruder configurations.
Q: How do I install this if the threads are stuck?
A: Ensure the hotend is warm (around 50-60°C) before installation to expand the metal slightly. Do not force it cold. Apply a small amount of high-temperature anti-seize compound if necessary.
