Works but instructions could be better
The part itself functions correctly, but the included paper guide was very vague. Had to watch a YouTube video to ensure I wired it correctly. Once installed, no issues.

Essential spare part
Every CR-10 owner should have one of these in their toolbox. When your main hotend fails, you don't want to wait for shipping. This kit is ready to go out of the box.

Good value, minor fitment issue
The heating element works great and reaches temperature quickly. The silicone sock was a tiny bit tight on my specific setup, but it stretched to fit. Overall happy with the purchase.

Upgrade from stock nozzle
Decided to swap this in while upgrading other parts. The 40W heater maintains temperature much better during high-speed prints compared to my old worn-out unit.

Reliable and durable
I run my printer almost 24/7 for prototypes. This head has held up remarkably well over three months of continuous use with PLA and PETG. Highly recommended.

Perfect replacement for my V2
My original hotend started clogging frequently, so I ordered this kit. Installation was straightforward, and the silicone sock fits perfectly. Prints are back to being crisp and clean.
Q: Is this compatible with the original CR-10 non-V2 model?
A: This kit is specifically designed for the CR-10 V2 and V3 models due to voltage and connector differences. It is not recommended for the original CR-10 without modification.
Q: Can I use this with a 12V power supply?
A: No, this is a 24V heater cartridge. Using it with a 12V supply will result in insufficient heating and poor print quality. Please ensure your printer is 24V.
Q: What is the thread size of the included nozzle?
A: The included nozzle features a standard M6 thread, which is compatible with most E3D-style hotends used in the CR-10 series.
Q: How long is the warranty on this kit?
A: This product comes with a standard 90-day manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Q: Does the silicone sock come pre-installed?
A: No, the silicone sock is included in the package separately to allow for easier installation of the hotend into the fan shroud first.
