Stable temps for ABS printing

I primarily print in ABS and need consistent high temperatures. This aluminum block maintains heat very well even with the cooling fan running. No more layer separation issues.

Works well but instructions lacking

The product itself seems high quality, but there were no installation instructions included. I had to watch a YouTube video to figure out the proper order of assembly. Once done, it works fine.

Good quality, minor threading issue

The aluminum block feels very solid and the ceramic heater works great. I had to tap the threads slightly to get the nozzle in smoothly, but once installed, it works flawlessly.

Excellent value for money

Q: Does this come with the thermistor or just the heater?

A: This kit includes the aluminum block, ceramic heating element, heat sink ring, and silicone sock. The thermistor is not included and must be purchased separately if needed.

Q: Do I need to recalibrate my PID settings after installing?

A: Yes, because the thermal mass and conductivity differ from stock blocks, we strongly recommend running a PID autotune cycle after installation for optimal temperature control.

Q: Can I use this with PLA filament?

A: Absolutely. While this block is excellent for high-temperature filaments like ABS or Nylon, it works perfectly fine with PLA as well, offering faster heat-up times.

Q: Is this compatible with a standard E3D V6 hotend?

A: Yes, this kit is specifically designed to be fully compatible with standard E3D V6 and Volcano style hotends.

Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature?
