Essential for high-temp filaments

I print a lot of Polycarbonate and this block handles the temperature stability much better than the stock aluminum version. Highly recommended for advanced users.

Good value for money

Great thermal conductivity

Works well but requires tuning

The thermal mass is higher than aluminum, so you must re-tune your PID settings or you will get overshoots. Once tuned, it works flawlessly.

Perfect upgrade for ABS printing

Swapped my aluminum block for this copper one and the heat retention is noticeably better. My ABS prints have fewer warping issues now. Fits my E3D clone perfectly.

A: This package includes the heater block and grub screws only. We recommend applying fresh thermal paste between the heater cartridge and the block during installation.

A: While primarily beneficial for high-temperature materials like ABS and PC, the improved heat consistency can also result in smoother extrusion for PLA, though the difference is less pronounced.

Q: Do I need to change my nozzle when installing this?

A: No, you can reuse your existing M6 nozzles. However, we recommend checking the nozzle condition before reinstalling.

Q: Is this compatible with the standard E3D V6 hotend?

A: Yes, this copper heater block is designed to be fully compatible with the standard E3D V6 hotend and most common clones.
