Perfect for Carbon Fiber prints
Finally upgraded to the hardened steel hotend and the difference is night and day. I can now print CF-PA without worrying about nozzle wear. The installation was incredibly easy thanks to the detachable design.

Must have for serious users
If you are running glass fiber or carbon fiber mixes, do not hesitate. This assembly saves you from constantly replacing brass nozzles. The flow rate is consistent and reliable.

Solid performance
Works exactly as advertised. The hardened steel holds up well against abrasives. Took off one star because the instructions could be slightly more detailed for first-time upgraders.
Q: How difficult is the installation process?
A: It is designed to be tool-free. You simply unlock the existing head, swap it with this new unit, and lock it in place. The printer will automatically detect the change.
Q: Can I still print PLA with this hardened steel nozzle?
A: Yes, absolutely. While optimized for abrasive and high-temperature filaments, it works perfectly fine with standard materials like PLA, PETG, and ABS.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 non-C version?
A: This specific upgrade is designed for the X1C and P1P models. For the standard X1, please check compatibility charts as firmware and hardware differences may exist.
Q: What is the maximum continuous operating temperature?
