Solid performance
Works exactly as advertised. The hardened steel nozzle is holding up well against abrasive filaments that would have ruined a brass nozzle in an hour. Slight learning curve with temperature tuning, but results are great.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically for printing carbon fiber nylon, and it has been flawless. The temperature stability is excellent, and the detachable design makes swapping nozzles incredibly fast.

No more clogs!
This solved all my clogging issues with metallic fill filaments. The heat break seems improved over the stock version, and the overall print quality has noticeably increased.

Great quality but pricey
The build quality is outstanding and fits my X1C perfectly. Printing with glass-filled PLA is now smooth without clogging. Only giving 4 stars because it is a bit expensive compared to third-party options, but the reliability is worth it.

Essential for engineering materials
If you plan on printing anything other than standard PLA or PETG, get this upgrade. The 3.0 version handles high temps beautifully, and I haven't had a single jam since installation.

Easy installation
I was worried about installing this myself, but the detachable assembly design made it very straightforward. Took me less than 10 minutes. Prints look sharper and more consistent now.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my printer after installing this?
A: It is highly recommended to run a flow rate calibration and potentially a vibration calibration after installing the new extruder head to ensure optimal print quality with the new hardware.
Q: How often do I need to replace the hardened steel nozzle?
A: Hardened steel nozzles are significantly more durable than brass ones. Depending on usage and filament abrasiveness, they can last 5 to 10 times longer. Inspect periodically for wear if print quality degrades.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1?
A: This upgrade is specifically designed for the X1C, P1P, and P1S models. While it may physically fit the original X1, we recommend checking the firmware compatibility and connector types before purchasing.
Q: Does this come with different nozzle sizes?
A: This assembly comes standard with a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. Other sizes like 0.2mm, 0.6mm, and 0.8mm are available separately and are easily swappable due to the detachable design.
Q: Can I use this with standard PLA filament?
