Great tone production
Upgraded to the 6C as my embouchure strengthened. The tone is warmer and more focused. Genuine Yamaha quality is evident in the finish and the precision of the facing. Highly recommended for anyone moving past the beginner stage.

Good value, fast shipping
Arrived quickly and well-packaged. The mouthpiece looks authentic with the Yamaha logo clearly stamped. It plays smoothly, though I did need to adjust my reed placement slightly compared to my old mouthpiece. Overall very satisfied.

The industry standard for beginners
As a band director, I recommend this mouthpiece to all my students. The consistency in manufacturing is excellent; every 4C I have seen plays predictably well. It helps students develop proper embouchure without fighting the equipment.

Solid upgrade from stock mouthpiece
I've been playing for about six months and decided to upgrade. The ebonite material feels much better than plastic. I went with the 5C and it offers a nice balance between resistance and openness. Took a few days to get used to, but worth it.

Perfect for my daughter's first year
