Saved me hours of work

Perfect for AC Installation

Solid construction
Heavy duty feel. The carbide tips are securely welded. I deducted one star because the extension rod thread was slightly tight, but once loosened up, it worked fine.

Good value but needs water cooling
The bit works well and is sharp out of the box. Just remember to use water to cool it down if you are drilling deep holes, otherwise it smokes a bit. Great price for the quality.

Q: Will this work on reinforced concrete with rebar?
A: Yes, the tungsten carbide tips are designed to cut through light rebar encountered in residential concrete walls. However, for heavy industrial steel reinforcement, a dedicated diamond core bit is recommended.
