Perfect for lead guitar
The .009 gauge is perfect for bending, and the nickel alloy gives a classic rock sound without being too harsh. No dead spots on the wound strings either.

Incredible longevity and tone
I've been playing for twenty years and these are hands down the best coated strings I've tried. The ultra-thin coating doesn't mute the high end like other brands, and they stay fresh for weeks even with daily playing.

Great value for the price
Solid set of strings. The individual packaging is a nice touch for keeping spares in my gig bag. They feel smooth under the fingers and intonate very well right out of the box.

Good brightness retention
After three weeks of heavy practice, these still sound brighter than uncoated strings do after two days. Deducting one star only because the ball ends were slightly rough on one string, but didn't affect playability.

My new go-to strings
Bald Eagle has won me over. The balance between tension and flexibility is spot on. I use these for everything from blues to metal and they handle drop tuning surprisingly well for a light gauge.

Smooth feel, no finger squeak
I was worried the coating would feel slippery, but it's actually just very smooth. It significantly reduces finger squeak during recording sessions, which is a huge plus for me.
Q: How does the ultra-thin coating affect the feel compared to uncoated strings?
A: The coating is designed to be barely perceptible, offering a feel very close to uncoated strings while providing protection against corrosion and sweat.
Q: Can I buy just the high E string if I break one?
A: Currently, our strings are only sold in full sets of six with individual envelopes for freshness. We do not offer single string replacements at this time.
Q: Are these strings compatible with Floyd Rose tremolo systems?
A: Yes, these strings feature standard ball ends that are fully compatible with Floyd Rose and similar locking tremolo systems.
