Perfect power solution for my robot car
This board provides stable power to my Raspberry Pi 5 even when the motors are drawing high current. No more random reboots during movement. Highly recommended for robotics projects.

Stable and reliable
I've tested this with a 24V battery pack and it steps down to 5V perfectly without getting too hot. The reverse polarity protection gave me peace of mind during wiring.

Great value, minor soldering needed
Works exactly as described. The only reason for 4 stars is that the pin headers weren't pre-soldered, so I had to do that myself. Otherwise, the power delivery is very clean.

Essential for Pi 5 robotics
The Pi 5 draws more power than previous models, and this board handles it effortlessly. The terminal blocks make connecting batteries very easy compared to GPIO pins.

No more voltage drops
Before using this, my Pi would crash whenever the servos moved quickly. This expansion board eliminated all voltage drop issues. It's compact and fits nicely on the chassis.

Solid build quality
We bought five of these for our workshop. They are robust and handle the load well. Instructions could be slightly more detailed for beginners, but overall a great product.
Q: Is this compatible with Raspberry Pi 4?
A: This board is specifically designed with the pinout and power requirements of the Raspberry Pi 5 in mind. While physical connection might be possible with adapters, we cannot guarantee stability or safety for Pi 4 models.
Q: Can this board power servo motors directly?
A: This board is designed primarily to provide stable 5V power to the Raspberry Pi 5 itself. While it has a 5A capacity, we recommend using a separate distribution block or dedicated driver for high-torque servos to ensure optimal performance.
Q: How do I connect a LiPo battery to this?
A: You can connect a LiPo battery via the screw terminal blocks. Ensure your battery voltage falls within the 12V-24V input range (e.g., a 3S or 4S configuration). Always double-check polarity before connecting.
Q: Does it come with screws to mount it to the Pi?
A: The package includes pin headers for connection. Mounting screws are not included, but the board has standard mounting holes compatible with M2.5 standoffs commonly used in Raspberry Pi cases.
Q: What is the maximum input voltage supported?
A: The board supports an input voltage range of 12V to 24V DC. Please do not exceed 24V as it may damage the voltage regulator.
