Solid Dev Board with Minor Quirks
Overall a fantastic board. The RGB lighting effects are smooth and easy to program. My only minor complaint is that the headphone jack volume maxes out a bit lower than I'd like for driving high-impedance headphones, but it's perfect for standard earbuds or small speakers.

Best ESP32-S3 Audio Board Yet
I've tried several similar boards, and this one offers the best balance of features and price. The PSRAM size allows for more complex audio buffering, which reduces latency in voice processing. The community support is growing fast, making troubleshooting easy.

Great Hardware, Documentation Could Be Better
The hardware quality is top-notch as expected from Waveshare. The audio output is clear, and the microphone array picks up voice commands accurately. However, finding specific pinout diagrams for the I2S connection took some digging in the wiki. Once set up, it runs flawlessly.

Robust Noise Cancellation
We tested this in a noisy workshop environment, and the echo cancellation features performed impressively. It successfully filtered out machinery noise while capturing voice commands. Highly recommended for industrial prototyping where audio clarity is critical.

Perfect for AI Voice Projects

Excellent Value for Learning
As someone new to embedded AI, this board made getting started with voice recognition much easier. The pre-loaded examples helped me understand how to integrate Alexa or Google Assistant logic. The build quality feels solid, and the USB-C port is a welcome addition.
