Great Hardware, Steep Learning Curve
Hardware quality is excellent, especially the display clarity. However, beginners might find the dual-chip architecture (P4 + C6) slightly confusing at first. Documentation could be more detailed regarding pin mapping.

Perfect for AI Robotics Projects
The integration of the 7-inch screen with the ESP32-P4 makes this board a powerhouse for my home automation robot. The WiFi 6 connectivity is stable and fast. Setup with the XiaoZhi AI framework was surprisingly smooth.

Exceeded Expectations
The camera interface worked flawlessly with my OV5640 module. Being able to process video locally and stream via WiFi 6 opens up so many possibilities for security and monitoring applications.

Solid Performance, Runs Warm
Performance is top-notch for running local AI models. One thing to note is that the board runs a bit warm under heavy load, so I added a small heatsink. Otherwise, it works exactly as advertised.

Best Value Large Screen Board
I've tried other development boards with screens, but none offer this resolution and size at this price point. The touch response is accurate, and the audio capabilities are a nice bonus for voice interaction projects.
Q: What microphone does this board support for the AI voice features?
A: The board has an I2S interface compatible with standard digital MEMS microphones (like the INMP441). It does not include a built-in microphone on the PCB, allowing you to choose the best mic for your specific noise environment.
Q: Is there a GPIO header available for connecting external sensors?
A: Yes, the board breaks out numerous GPIO pins, along with UART, SPI, and I2C interfaces on standard 2.54mm headers, making it easy to connect external sensors, motors, and other peripherals.
Q: Is the 7-inch screen replaceable if it gets damaged?
A: The screen is connected via a flexible ribbon cable. While it is technically replaceable if you have soldering skills and can source the specific panel, it is not designed as a user-swappable module like an SD card.
Q: Can I power this board directly from a standard USB power bank?
A: Yes, the board features a USB Type-C port that accepts standard 5V input from most power banks. For extended operation with the screen at full brightness, we recommend a power bank capable of delivering at least 2A.
Q: Does this board come with a pre-installed OS or do I need to flash it myself?
A: The board comes with a basic demo firmware pre-flashed to demonstrate the screen and WiFi capabilities. You will need to flash your own code using ESP-IDF, Arduino IDE, or the XiaoZhi AI tools for custom projects.
