Solid choice for HMI applications
Using this for a factory Human Machine Interface. The display output is crisp and the touch response is low latency. Would prefer if the WiFi antenna connector was external by default.

Perfect for edge AI projects
I needed a board with decent NPU capabilities without breaking the bank. This fits the bill perfectly. Video inference runs at acceptable frame rates for our security camera prototype.

Great learning platform
As a student moving from Raspberry Pi to more industrial hardware, this board was easy to get started with. The community examples for the NPU were very helpful.

Excellent value for industrial prototyping
The RK3562J board offers a great balance between performance and cost. The NPU works smoothly with our TensorFlow Lite models, and the dual Ethernet ports are perfect for our gateway application.

Good documentation, minor setup quirks
Overall a solid board. The hardware is robust and the pinout is clearly labeled. Had some initial trouble with the Yocto build environment, but support helped resolve it quickly.

Reliable for long-term testing
Been running this board continuously for three weeks in a temperature-controlled chamber. No crashes or thermal throttling observed. The industrial grade components seem genuine.
Q: Is the source code for the BSP available?
A: Yes, we provide open-source U-Boot, Kernel, and rootfs sources on our GitHub repository linked in the product wiki.
Q: What is the maximum resolution supported on the HDMI output?
A: The HDMI 2.0 interface supports up to 4K resolution at 60Hz. It is also backward compatible with 1080p displays.
Q: Does this board support Android 12 or higher?
A: Yes, the RK3562J officially supports Android 12 and Android 13. BSP packages are available upon request from our download portal.
Q: Can I power this board directly from a 12V industrial supply?
A: No, the board requires a stable 5V input. Connecting 12V directly will damage the PMIC. Please use a step-down converter or a dedicated 5V power adapter.
Q: Does the NPU support PyTorch models directly?
A: The NPU typically requires models to be converted to RKNN format. We provide tools to convert models from PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Caffe to RKNN.
