Solid board, basic accessories
The Uno R3 board itself is genuine and works perfectly. The accessory kit is a bit basic, but sufficient for learning the fundamentals of circuits and coding.

Good jumpstart into IoT
While this is an R3 board, it pairs well with additional WiFi modules for IoT projects. The kit provides a solid foundation for understanding microcontroller logic before moving to more complex boards.

Great value for money
Bought this for my son's science project. The instructions were clear enough for us to figure out the basics, and the variety of sensors included is impressive for the price.
Q: Is this board compatible with the official Arduino IDE?
A: Yes, this board is fully compatible with the official Arduino IDE. You can simply select 'Arduino Uno' from the board manager and start uploading code.
Q: Does the kit include a power adapter or just the USB cable?
A: The kit includes a standard USB Type-B cable which can power the board when connected to a computer. It does not include a separate wall power adapter, but you can use any 7-12V DC power supply with a 2.1mm center-positive plug if needed.
Q: Can I use this with Python instead of C++?
A: The native language is C++, but you can use MicroPython or Firmata to control the board using Python scripts running on your computer. Additional libraries may need to be installed.
Q: Are the sensors in the kit analog or digital?
A: The kit includes a mix of both. For example, the potentiometer and light sensor are analog, while the push buttons and IR receiver module operate digitally. This allows you to learn both types of signal processing.
Q: What is the maximum current draw per I/O pin?
A: Each I/O pin can safely provide or receive a maximum of 40mA. However, we recommend keeping the current under 20mA per pin to ensure long-term reliability of the microcontroller.
