Ideal for learning advanced ARM Cortex-M7
As a student moving from F4 to H7, this board made the transition smooth. The memory map is well utilized, and the community support for this specific layout is growing fast.

Solid hardware, runs hot under load
Performance is exactly as advertised. Just note that at max frequency with all peripherals active, it gets warm. A small heatsink might be needed for enclosed projects.

Excellent performance for high-speed projects
The 480MHz clock speed is a game changer for my DSP applications. The gold plating on the pins ensures reliable connections even after multiple re-flashes and cable swaps. Highly recommended for serious embedded work.

Best value in the H7 series
Compared to other boards with similar specs, this offers incredible value. The onboard debugger works seamlessly with STM32CubeIDE. No issues with power delivery either.

Great board, documentation could be better
Hardware quality is top-notch, especially the PCB finish. However, finding specific examples for the H7B0 variant took some digging. Once set up, it runs flawlessly.

Perfect for industrial control prototypes
Used this for a motor control project requiring fast PWM updates. The timer resolution and processing power handled complex algorithms without breaking a sweat. Very stable.
Q: Is the bootloader pre-installed for USB DFU mode?
A: Yes, the board comes with the system memory bootloader enabled, allowing you to program the device via USB DFU without needing an external programmer.
Q: What is the current limit on the 5V output pin?
A: The 5V pin is directly connected to the USB input or external jack depending on the power source selection jumper. It is not regulated by the board for output, so please do not draw more than the USB port limit (typically 500mA).
Q: Are the pin headers soldered by default?
A: No, the board is shipped with unsoldered header pins to allow flexibility for custom setups or shield stacking. You will need to solder them yourself.
Q: Can I use this with Arduino IDE?
A: Absolutely. You can install the STM32duino package in Arduino IDE. Select the appropriate Nucleo-144 board definition corresponding to the H743 or H7B0 chip.
Q: Does this board support external SDRAM interfaces?
A: Yes, the STM32H743 core on this board supports FMC/SDRAM interfaces, allowing you to connect external memory modules for expanded storage needs.
