Best value Cortex-M4 board
Compared to other development boards with Ethernet and CAN, this offers the best value. The pinout is clearly labeled, making it easy to connect sensors and actuators.

Solid Ethernet performance
The DP83848 chip performs well for 10/100Mbps applications. I successfully ported FreeRTOS and achieved stable TCP/IP communication. Would give 5 stars if it included a WiFi module onboard instead of requiring an external one.

Great learning tool but documentation could be better
Excellent hardware for the price. I used it for my university thesis on embedded networking. The only downside is that the schematic provided in the download link was slightly hard to read, but the community forums helped.

Ideal for CAN bus testing
Bought this specifically to test CAN communication for an automotive project. The transceiver works perfectly, and debugging with ST-Link was seamless. Highly recommended for automotive engineers.

Perfect for Industrial IoT Projects
This board has everything I needed for my factory automation prototype. The CAN bus and RS485 interfaces work flawlessly out of the box. The Ethernet connection via DP83848 is stable and easy to configure with LWIP.

Robust and Reliable
I have deployed five of these boards in a testing environment running 24/7. No crashes or overheating issues. The STM32F407 handles multiple communication protocols simultaneously without lag.
Q: Can I power this board via USB or do I need an external supply?
A: You can power the board via the Micro-USB port for basic operations. However, if you plan to use high-power peripherals or the Ethernet PHY heavily, we recommend using the external 5V DC jack for stable performance.
Q: Is the source code for the Ethernet driver included?
A: Yes, upon purchase, you will receive a link to our repository containing example projects for Keil MDK and IAR, including drivers for the DP83848 Ethernet controller and CAN/RS485 examples.
Q: What debugger is compatible with this board?
A: This board features a standard SWD/JTAG header. It is fully compatible with ST-Link V2, J-Link, and other ARM debuggers that support the Cortex-M4 architecture.
