Genuine chip confirmed

Great value for learning ARM
Bought this for my university embedded systems project. It's a great entry point into the STM32 ecosystem. The only minor issue is that the pinout diagram on the back is a bit small to read without a magnifier, but otherwise, it's excellent.

Easy to get started
As someone new to STM32, I was worried about setup complexity. However, using STM32CubeIDE made programming this board very straightforward. The CH340 chip means no external programmer is needed for basic uploads.

Perfect for custom flight controllers
This board is incredibly compact and fits perfectly into my DIY drone frame. The imported chip works flawlessly with Betaflight, and the CH340 driver installed easily on Windows 10. Highly recommended for anyone building a lightweight flight control system.

Good performance, runs hot under load
Performance is exactly as expected for an RCT6. It handles PWM signals for 6 motors without lag. Note that it does get slightly warm when driving multiple servos continuously, so ensure good airflow in your enclosure.

Solid build quality
The soldering on the pins is clean, and the PCB feels sturdy. I've been running it at 72MHz for weeks without any stability issues. The ultra-small size is a huge plus for space-constrained industrial control applications.
Q: What is the current limit of the 3.3V output pin?
A: The onboard regulator can supply up to 200mA. However, for powering high-current peripherals, we suggest using an external power source and connecting only the logic level signals to the GPIO pins.
Q: Does this board support 5V input directly?
A: Yes, the board includes a voltage regulator that accepts 5V input via the USB port or the VIN pin and regulates it down to 3.3V for the MCU.
Q: Can I use this with Arduino IDE?
A: Absolutely. You can program this board using the Arduino IDE by installing the appropriate STM32 core package (e.g., from STMicroelectronics or Generic STM32).
Q: What debugger interface is recommended?
A: We recommend using the SWD (Serial Wire Debug) interface with an ST-Link V2 or J-Link debugger for the best experience. The JTAG pins are also broken out if you prefer that method.
Q: Is the CH340 driver included in macOS?
A: macOS usually requires a manual driver installation for the CH340 chip. You can download the official driver from the WCH website. Linux users typically do not need to install extra drivers.
