Works well but USB boot can be tricky
The hardware is fine, but getting the USB serial to work required holding the boot jumper while plugging it in. Once configured, it runs great. Just be prepared to read up on the boot mode jumpers before starting.

Reliable for prototyping
I have used five of these boards for various sensor projects. They are stable, consume low power, and the 72MHz clock speed handles real-time data processing well. Highly recommended for industrial control prototypes.

Great value but needs a programmer
The board itself is excellent and matches the description of the university association model perfectly. Just remember that it does not come with an onboard ST-Link programmer, so you will need to buy one separately to upload code via SWD.

Good documentation support online

Perfect for learning embedded systems

Q: Does this board come with an ST-Link programmer included?
A: No, this package includes only the STM32 minimum system board. You will need to purchase an ST-Link V2 or similar debugger/programmer separately to upload code.
Q: Are the pin headers pre-soldered?
A: This depends on the specific option selected at checkout. Our standard listing usually ships with unsoldered header pins to allow for custom configurations, but soldered options are often available.
Q: Can I power this board directly via the micro USB port?
A: Yes, you can power the board via the micro USB port if your computer or adapter provides sufficient current. Alternatively, you can use the 5V and GND pins or the VIN pin with an external supply between 3.6V and 6V.
