Perfect starter kit for IoT projects
This board is exactly what I needed to get started with MicroPython. The included sensors work flawlessly out of the box, and the documentation provided by Puzhong made setup a breeze. Highly recommended for beginners.

Great value, minor pin labeling issue
The hardware quality is excellent for the price. My only small complaint is that the pinout diagram on the back is slightly hard to read in low light. Otherwise, the Wi-Fi connectivity is stable and the OLED screen is crisp.

Bought 10 for our workshop
We purchased these for a weekend IoT workshop. Every single board worked perfectly. The students loved the immediate feedback from the sensors and the display. Robust build quality survived some clumsy handling too.

Solid board, wish it had more GPIO exposed
The ESP32 chip itself is powerful and handles multitasking well. The kit is comprehensive, though advanced users might find they need to solder headers to access every single GPIO pin. Still, a great buy for the price.

Easy to learn Python on hardware
I was intimidated by embedded programming, but this kit makes it so approachable. Uploading scripts via Thonny IDE was instant. The variety of sensors allows for immediate experimentation without buying extra parts.

Excellent for home automation prototypes
Used this to prototype a smart temperature monitor. The Bluetooth and Wi-Fi range is impressive inside my house. The MicroPython libraries for the included sensors are easy to find and implement.
Q: What is the maximum voltage input for the VIN pin?
A: The recommended input voltage range for the VIN pin is 3.3V to 6V. Please do not exceed 6V to avoid damaging the onboard voltage regulator.
Q: Can I use the Arduino IDE with this specific kit?
A: Absolutely. This board is fully compatible with the Arduino IDE. You just need to install the ESP32 board manager package, and you can program it using C++ just like any other Arduino board.
Q: Does the OLED screen support color?
A: No, the included 0.96-inch OLED display is monochrome (white on black). It is chosen for its low power consumption and high readability for text and basic graphs.
Q: Does this board come with pre-soldered headers?
A: Yes, the main ESP32 board comes with male headers pre-soldered so you can plug it directly into a breadboard. The sensor modules also have headers attached.
Q: Are example codes included for all the sensors in the kit?
A: Yes, we provide a GitHub repository link in the user manual containing tested example codes in both MicroPython and Arduino C++ for every sensor included in the box.
