Perfect for learning STM32

Easy to get started

Great value, minor documentation issues
The hardware quality is excellent for the price. All peripherals work as expected. The only downside is that the included manual could be more detailed in English, but online resources fill the gap.

Good for prototyping
Used this for rapid prototyping before moving to a custom PCB. The form factor is convenient, and having so many GPIOs available on headers saves a lot of time during testing.

Best bang for your buck
You cannot beat this price for a full-featured STM32F103ZET6 board. It includes everything needed for most university projects, including the crystal oscillators and reset circuitry.
Q: What is the input voltage range for the external power jack?
A: The external power jack accepts a DC input voltage between 7V and 12V. The onboard regulator then steps this down to 5V and 3.3V for the system.
Q: Is this board compatible with the Arduino IDE?
A: Yes, you can use this board with the Arduino IDE by installing the STM32duino core. However, for full feature utilization, we recommend using STM32CubeIDE or Keil MDK.
Q: Does this board come with an integrated programmer/debugger?
A: No, this board does not have an integrated debugger. You will need an external ST-Link V2 or J-Link debugger to program and debug the microcontroller via the SWD interface.
Q: Does the package include a USB cable?
A: Yes, the standard package includes a mini-USB cable for power supply and serial communication. Please note that programming still requires a separate ST-Link debugger.
Q: Can I drive 5V logic devices directly from the GPIO pins?
A: No, the GPIO pins operate at 3.3V logic levels. While some pins are 5V tolerant for input, you should not output 5V from them. Use a level shifter if you need to interface with 5V devices.
