Solid minimum system board
Good stable power regulation and reset circuit. I used this as the brain for a small line-following robot. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the USB cable included is a bit short, but that's a minor issue.

Works with Arduino IDE seamlessly
I was worried about compatibility, but after installing the appropriate board manager URL, this flashed just like an Arduino Uno. It's much faster and has more memory. Great bridge for moving from AVR to ARM.

Great value, minor soldering needed
The core board is excellent quality for the price. You need to solder the pin headers yourself if you want to use it on a breadboard immediately, but the kit includes everything needed. The STM32F103 chip is genuine and runs at full speed.

Everything I needed to start
Never touched an MCU before this. The kit comes with jumper wires and a breadboard which saved me a separate trip to the store. The community support for this specific board model is huge, making troubleshooting easy.

Perfect for beginners following the Bilibili tutorial
I bought this specifically to follow the new 2024 Jiangke Da series on Bilibili. The board works flawlessly out of the box. All pins are labeled clearly, and the included breadboard makes prototyping very easy. Highly recommended for students.

Excellent learning tool

A: This board supports SWD (Serial Wire Debug) programming and debugging. You will need a separate ST-Link V2 or J-Link debugger to utilize this feature for advanced development.
Q: Is the 5V pin safe to use for powering sensors?
A: Yes, the 5V pin is connected directly to the USB 5V input when powered via USB, or to the VIN pin if using an external supply. It is suitable for powering 5V sensors, but ensure your total current draw does not exceed the USB limit.
