Good value but docs could be better
The hardware quality is solid and it runs stable at high speeds. However, finding specific register maps for the NY8BE62D took some digging. Overall recommended for experienced users.

Steep learning curve
The board itself seems fine, but as a beginner, I found the toolchain setup difficult. Would recommend only if you already have the compiler environment ready.

Q: What software IDE is supported for this chip?
A: The NY8BE62D core is typically supported by the official Ninechip IDE and is also compatible with certain versions of SDCC (Small Device C Compiler). Please check our wiki for the latest driver links.
Q: Does this board come with a USB programmer included?
A: No, the PKT-016-NY8BE62D board is sold separately. You will need a compatible Ninechip programmer/debugger, which is available in our accessories section.
Q: Can I power this directly from a 9V battery?
A: Direct connection to 9V is not recommended as it may damage the regulator. The board accepts input via the VIN pin ranging from 5V to 7V, or you can use the 3.3V pin if your source is regulated.
Q: What is the maximum current draw per GPIO pin?
A: Each GPIO pin can source or sink up to 25mA. The total current for all ports combined should not exceed 100mA to ensure stable operation.
