Great value, minor pin labeling issue
The board works flawlessly with ESP-IDF. My only complaint is that some of the pin labels on the silkscreen are a bit small to read without a magnifier. Otherwise, a solid development board.

Solid hardware, good documentation
The hardware quality feels premium. Compilation times in Arduino IDE are fast. I deducted one star because the included header pins were not pre-soldered, but that's standard for most boards.

Reliable Wi-Fi performance
Used this to control a small robot chassis. The 2.4G Wi-Fi signal remains strong even with interference from other devices in my workshop. Very happy with this purchase.

Low power consumption
Switched from an older ESP8266 to this C3 board for a battery-powered door sensor. The deep sleep modes are impressive, and the Bluetooth LE range is better than expected.

Perfect for RISC-V projects
This board is excellent for anyone wanting to explore the ESP32-C3 chip. The USB-C connection makes powering and flashing very convenient. Wi-Fi connectivity was stable right out of the box.

Ideal for learning embedded systems
I bought this for my university project. It supports MicroPython perfectly, which made prototyping my sensor network incredibly fast. Highly recommended for students.
Q: Is this compatible with the Arduino IDE?
A: Absolutely. You can install the ESP32 board package in Arduino IDE and select 'Xiao ESP32C3' or the generic ESP32C3 board option to start coding.
Q: Does this board support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks?
A: No, the ESP32-C3 chip on this board only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks (802.11 b/g/n).
Q: Does it come with header pins soldered?
A: No, this board is shipped without header pins soldered to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder them yourself if required.
Q: Can I power this board directly via the VIN pin?
A: Yes, you can supply 5V to the VIN pin, but we recommend using the USB-C port for stable power during programming.
Q: What is the maximum current output for the 3.3V pin?
A: The onboard LDO regulator can typically supply up to 600mA, but for stability, we recommend keeping the load under 500mA.
