Reliable and cheap
I've burned out two other cheap boards, but this one has been running my garden irrigation system for months without a glitch. The build quality feels sturdy.

Solid performance, minor driver hiccup
The board itself is excellent quality. I had a small issue finding the right CH340 driver for my older Mac, but once installed, uploads are fast and stable.

Perfect for beginners and prototyping
This board works flawlessly with the Arduino IDE. The CH340 driver was easy to install on Windows 10. Great value for the price compared to official boards.

Indistinguishable from original in function
For 99% of hobbyist projects, this performs exactly like the original. The CH340 chip is reliable and supports high-speed serial communication well.

Good starter board
Very easy to set up. The pinout is clearly marked. Only giving 4 stars because the USB cable included was a bit short, but the board itself is perfect.
Q: Can I power this with a 9V battery?
A: Yes, you can connect a 9V battery to the barrel jack or the Vin and GND pins. The onboard regulator will step it down to 5V safely.
Q: Is this compatible with the Arduino IDE?
A: Absolutely. You just need to select 'Arduino Uno' as the board type and ensure the CH340 drivers are installed on your computer.
Q: Does this board come with a USB cable?
A: Yes, this package typically includes a standard USB A to Mini-B cable for power and programming.
Q: Does it have protection against reverse polarity?
A: While the board has a resettable fuse for overcurrent, we recommend double-checking your power connections as there is no dedicated reverse polarity diode on the main input.
Q: What operating systems support the CH340 driver?
A: Drivers are available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Most modern Linux distributions recognize the chip automatically without extra installation.
