Great value for handmade art

For the price, the quality is impressive. The wooden rods are smooth and the paper feels authentic. One minor crease on arrival but it flattened out after hanging for a day.

A: When rolled, the scroll measures approximately 36cm in length and 5cm in diameter, making it easy to store on a shelf.

Q: Does this scroll come with a protective case for storage?

A: Yes, each scroll comes with a traditional fabric tube cover to protect it from dust and light when rolled up.

Q: Can this be framed behind glass instead of hung as a scroll?

A: While designed as a hanging scroll, it can be mounted by a professional framer. However, please note that Xuan paper is textured and may require special spacing behind glass.

Q: Is the text readable for someone learning Chinese calligraphy?

A: Absolutely. The characters are written in a standard semi-cursive script that is clear enough for students to study the stroke order and structure.

Q: Is the ink waterproof or will it smear if touched?
