Great build quality, steep learning curve
The construction is solid and feels very professional in hand. However, if you are used to digital timers, the analog dial takes some getting used to for reading split times quickly. Once you practice, it works flawlessly.

Best value for mechanical timing
Bought the model 806 for swimming practice. The flyback reset is smooth and responsive. It's refreshing to use a tool that doesn't rely on electronics. Highly recommended for any serious coach.

Reliable Classic for Track Events

Solid performer
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the instruction manual was a bit vague on how to properly wind it without over-tightening, but common sense prevailed.
