The sensor arrived well-packaged. Setup took about 10 minutes per unit. Only minor issue is the cable gland could be slightly larger for thicker conduit cables, but manageable.

Q: Do you provide a configuration tool or software?

A: We provide a free Windows-based configuration utility available for download on our official website. It allows you to read real-time data, change addresses, and adjust sampling rates.

Q: Can this be powered by 24V AC directly?

A: Absolutely. The unit has a wide power input range supporting both 12-24V DC and 12-24V AC, making it versatile for various industrial power supplies.

Q: What is the default baud rate out of the box?

A: The factory default settings are 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, and 1 stop bit (9600, 8, N, 1). These can be easily changed via software commands if your system requires different settings.

Q: Is the probe replaceable if it gets damaged?

A: The sensing element is integrated into the housing to maintain the IP65 rating. If the sensor fails, the entire unit typically needs replacement to ensure calibration integrity and weatherproofing.

Q: Does this sensor support daisy-chaining multiple units on one RS485 line?

A: Yes, the JWSL-6ATW supports standard Modbus RTU daisy-chaining. You can connect up to 247 devices on a single pair of wires, provided you use proper termination resistors.
