Professional quality

Great value for students
Bought a set for my architecture class. The lines are crisp and consistent. Only giving 4 stars because the finest tip (0.05) can be a bit fragile if you press too hard, but overall excellent quality.

Good for kids too
My teenager loves these for her anime drawings. They are easy to handle and the ink doesn't bleed through standard sketchbook paper. Durable enough for daily use.

No more dried out tips!

Perfect for Manga Inking
I've been using these pens for my comic strips for a month now. The ink is truly waterproof and doesn't smudge when I add watercolor washes over it. The retractable feature saves my cap from getting lost!
Q: How long does the ink take to dry completely?
A: Under normal conditions, the quick-drying formula sets within seconds. However, for complete waterproof stability, we recommend waiting about 30 seconds before applying wet media over the lines.
Q: Is there a difference between the black and blue ink versions?
A: The performance, tip size, and drying time are identical across all colors. The only difference is the pigment color. Both black and blue options feature the same waterproof and no-smudge properties.
Q: Does the 0.05mm tip work well on textured watercolor paper?
A: While it can be used on textured paper, ultra-fine tips like 0.05mm may catch on rough surfaces. For heavy texture, we suggest using 0.3mm or larger sizes for smoother line application.
Q: Can I refill this pen when it runs out of ink?
A: No, the Dianshi 2008 model is a disposable unit designed for convenience and consistent performance. Once the ink is depleted, the entire pen should be recycled according to local regulations.
Q: Is the ink safe for use on fabric or just paper?
A: This pen is primarily designed for paper, cardstock, and illustration boards. While the ink is permanent once dry, we do not recommend it for fabric applications as it may not withstand washing.
