Best upgrade for my home studio
Replaced an old scissor arm with this. The range of motion is fantastic, especially being able to position the mic lower for guitar recording. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent cable management
The internal cable routing is a game changer. My desk looks so much cleaner now. The arm moves smoothly and stays exactly where I put it. Highly recommend for podcasters.

Solid build, easy assembly
Great value for the price. The clamp is strong and holds tight to my desk. Assembly took about 10 minutes. Only minor issue is the tension knobs are a bit stiff at first, but they loosened up after use.

Good stability, sleek design
Looks professional on my setup. The matte black finish matches my other gear. It's very stable, though I did need to tighten the base clamp quite a bit to ensure no wobble during typing.

Perfect for low-angle streaming setups
I needed a stand that could go lower than my previous boom arm to capture a specific vocal style, and the AX3 delivers perfectly. The low-position support is sturdy and doesn't sag even with my heavy dynamic mic.

Handles heavy mics with ease
I was worried about the 2kg limit, but it handles my Shure SM7B with a shock mount without any drooping. The low-position feature is unique and very useful for sitting close to the mic.
Q: Is the thread size compatible with Blue Yeti microphones?
A: Yes, the AX3 features a standard 5/8" thread. Most Blue Yeti microphones come with a 3/8" to 5/8" adapter included, making them fully compatible.
Q: What is the maximum reach of the boom arm?
A: The AX3 has an effective horizontal reach of approximately 85cm (33.5 inches) when fully extended, allowing plenty of flexibility for positioning.
Q: Can I mount this to a glass desk?
A: We do not recommend using the clamp mount on glass surfaces as it may crack under tension. However, you can use the included grommet adapter if your glass desk has a pre-drilled hole.
Q: Does this stand come with a shock mount?
A: No, the Songneng AX3 includes the boom arm, desk clamp, grommet adapter, and Allen keys. A shock mount must be purchased separately.
Q: How do I adjust the tension if the arm sags?
A: There are two tension adjustment knobs located at the elbow joints. Use the included Allen key to tighten them clockwise until the arm holds its position firmly.
