Bought ten for the whole studio

Finally a clip that holds my heavy wireless mic
I've gone through three plastic clips that snapped under the weight of my Shure wireless system. This metal clip with the spring mechanism is incredibly sturdy. It grips tight without scratching the mic body. Highly recommended for live sound engineers.

Good but overkill for small mics
It works perfectly fine, but it's definitely designed for larger microphones. If you are using a small dynamic mic, this clip feels a bit bulky and heavy. Stick to standard clips for smaller gear.

Great build quality, slightly stiff spring
The construction is top-notch and feels like it will last forever. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the spring is very tight, making it a bit hard to open with one hand initially. It might loosen up with use though.

Perfect for condenser mics
Using this with my large diaphragm condenser mic in the studio. The grip is secure and the swivel action is smooth. It eliminates the wobble I used to get with cheaper clips. Worth every penny.

Indestructible
I drop my gear often during load-in and load-out. This clip has survived multiple falls onto concrete stages without bending or breaking. The matte black finish also hides scuffs well.
Q: Can I use this outdoors in rainy conditions?
A: The clip features a powder-coated finish that resists rust, but we recommend avoiding direct exposure to heavy rain or submerging it in water to preserve the mechanical function of the spring.
Q: What is the maximum diameter microphone this can hold?
A: The jaws can open up to approximately 1.5 inches (38mm), making it suitable for most large-diaphragm condensers and handheld wireless transmitters currently on the market.
Q: Is the spring replaceable if it wears out?
A: The spring is integrated into the housing for maximum durability and is not designed to be user-replaceable. However, given the heavy-duty steel construction, it is built to last for years of daily use.
Q: Will this fit a Shure SM58 securely?
A: Absolutely. While designed for larger wireless and condenser mics, the spring tension adjusts well to hold standard dynamic microphones like the SM58 very securely.
