Solid construction
Very happy with the purchase. The lock mechanism is secure and doesn't budge during intense sets. My only wish is that it came in more color options, but functionally it is flawless.

Game changer for my home gym
This hook provides excellent stability. I was struggling with grip strength on my pull-up bar, but this assistant allows me to focus purely on the back muscles. The rubber coating prevents slipping even when my hands are sweaty.

Sturdy but takes getting used to
The build quality is impressive and feels very safe. It took me a few workouts to get the hang of the wrist positioning, but once I did, it made hanging exercises much more comfortable. Deducting one star because the instructions could be clearer.

Essential for beginners
As someone who cannot yet do a full pull-up, this hook helps me practice the negative portion of the movement safely. It has boosted my confidence and helped me progress faster than expected.

Great value for money
Compared to other assistive gear, this is affordable and does exactly what it promises. The metal feels thick and durable. I've been using it daily for three weeks with no signs of wear.

Perfect for rehabilitation
I am recovering from a minor shoulder injury and needed a way to do passive hangs without gripping too hard. This device is perfect. It supports my weight effortlessly and reduces strain on my forearms significantly.
Q: Is the rubber coating durable enough for outdoor use?
A: The coating is weather-resistant and suitable for occasional outdoor use. However, for longevity, we recommend storing the device indoors when not in use to prevent prolonged exposure to UV rays and moisture.
Q: How do I clean the grip if it gets sweaty?
A: Simply wipe down the rubber coating with a damp cloth and mild soap after your workout. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers that could damage the non-slip texture.
Q: Will this fit on a standard doorway pull-up bar?
A: Yes, our Pull-Up Assist Hook is designed to fit most standard bars with a diameter between 1.25 inches and 1.5 inches, which covers the majority of doorway and wall-mounted bars.
Q: What is the maximum weight limit for safety?
A: The hook is tested and rated to safely support users up to 300 lbs (136 kg). Please ensure your pull-up bar itself is also rated for this weight before use.
Q: Can this be used for kipping pull-ups?
A: We recommend using this hook strictly for strict pull-ups, chin-ups, and static hangs. The dynamic motion of kipping may place unpredictable stress on the attachment point, so it is safer to avoid high-momentum movements.
