Perfect for my line-following robot upgrade
These sensors are incredibly responsive. I used them to add light-tracking capabilities to my Arduino-based smart car, and the adjustment potentiometer made calibration a breeze. Great value for the price.

Good quality, fast shipping
The build quality is solid and the soldering points are clean. It works exactly as described for detecting ambient light changes. Only giving 4 stars because the included header pins were slightly bent, but easily fixed.

Great for beginners

Works well but instructions could be better
The sensor itself functions perfectly once you figure out how to tune the potentiometer. However, the package didn't include any printed guide, so I had to look up the pinout online. Still a good product overall.

Excellent sensitivity
Very impressed with how quickly this reacts to light changes. I'm using it for an automatic night-light project, and the transition is smooth. The LM393 chip ensures stable performance.
Q: Is this module compatible with Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, this module operates at 3.3V-5V, making it fully compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO pins. Just ensure you connect the VCC to the 5V or 3.3V pin accordingly.
Q: Can this sensor detect infrared light?
A: No, this is a standard photoresistor module designed for visible light detection. For infrared applications, please check our specific IR sensor modules.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity threshold?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board. Use a small screwdriver to rotate it clockwise to increase sensitivity or counter-clockwise to decrease it while monitoring the output signal.
Q: Does it come with mounting screws?
A: The package includes the PCB module and header pins, but mounting screws are not included. The board has standard 3mm mounting holes compatible with most M3 standoffs.
Q: What is the maximum current consumption?
