Compact and reliable
Small footprint fits perfectly in my enclosed sensor box. The soldering points are well-defined and the board feels sturdy. No issues after two weeks of continuous operation.

Good value, clear instructions needed
The hardware quality is solid and the readings are consistent. I deducted one star because there were no printed instructions on how to wire the 3-wire vs 4-wire configuration, but I figured it out online.

Great for soil monitoring
Using this to monitor compost temperature. It handles the humidity well, though I added a conformal coating just to be safe. Works exactly as described.

Perfect for my home automation project
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino setup. The potentiometer makes it very easy to calibrate the trigger point for my cooling fan system. Highly recommended for beginners.

Fast response time
I tested this against a professional thermometer and the accuracy is impressive for the price. The digital output switches instantly when the threshold is crossed.
Q: How do I adjust the temperature threshold?
A: Use the blue potentiometer on the board. Turn it clockwise or counter-clockwise while monitoring the DO LED until it triggers at your desired temperature.
Q: Does this come with jumper wires?
A: The package includes a set of header pins that you can solder onto the board. Jumper wires to connect to your microcontroller are sold separately.
Q: Is the thermistor waterproof?
A: The thermistor probe itself has some resistance to moisture, but the PCB board is not waterproof. We recommend enclosing the board in a protective case for outdoor use.
Q: What is the difference between the DO and AO pins?
A: DO (Digital Output) provides a HIGH/LOW signal based on your threshold setting, while AO (Analog Output) provides a continuous voltage proportional to the temperature.
Q: Can this module be used directly with a 3.3V microcontroller like ESP8266?
A: Yes, the module operates within a 3.3V to 5V range, making it fully compatible with 3.3V logic systems like the ESP8266 or ESP32.
