Q: How do I calibrate the temperature threshold?

A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board labeled 'DO-ADJ'. Rotate it clockwise to increase the temperature threshold and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Use a heat source and a multimeter or LED indicator to verify the switching point.

Q: What is the difference between the 3-wire and 4-wire versions?

A: The 4-wire version typically includes separate pins for VCC, GND, DO (Digital Output), and AO (Analog Output), allowing for both threshold switching and continuous temperature reading. The 3-wire version usually omits the Analog Output, providing only the digital switch functionality.

Q: Can this module be directly connected to a 5V Raspberry Pi GPIO pin?

A: Yes, the module operates on 3.3V to 5V DC. However, please ensure you connect the DO (Digital Output) pin correctly and consider using a pull-up resistor if your specific application requires it. Always check your Pi's voltage tolerance before connecting.

Q: Is the thermistor replaceable if it gets damaged?

A: The thermistor is soldered directly onto the PCB. While technically replaceable with proper soldering skills and equipment, it is not designed as a user-replaceable component. We recommend handling the sensor head with care to avoid damage.
