Reliable in harsh conditions
Using this in a greenhouse with high humidity and temperature fluctuations. It has been running for three months without any drift or failure. The IP65 rating holds up well against condensation.

Solid performance
Easy to wire and configure. The response time is quick enough for our HVAC control loop. Only giving 4 stars because the mounting brackets are sold separately, which would have been nice to include.

Excellent value for industrial grade
Compared to other brands costing twice as much, this SHT20 module offers incredible value. The RS485 connection is stable over long cable runs, which was a primary requirement for us.

Perfect for our warehouse monitoring

Great accuracy, documentation could be better
The sensor itself is fantastic and matches our calibrated reference meter almost perfectly. However, the register map in the manual was a bit confusing at first. Once we figured it out, it works flawlessly.
Q: How do I handle condensation inside the housing?
A: The unit is rated IP65 and designed to handle high humidity. However, for extreme environments, we recommend using the optional sintered metal filter cap to allow air exchange while preventing liquid water ingress.
Q: What is the maximum cable length supported for the RS485 connection?
A: Under standard industrial conditions with proper shielding, the Modbus RS485 interface supports cable runs up to 1200 meters (approx. 4000 feet) at lower baud rates.
Q: Is there a calibration certificate included with the unit?
A: Standard units come with a factory calibration report. If you require an ISO-accredited individual calibration certificate, please select that option at checkout or contact sales.
Q: Does this support Baud rate 9600?
A: Yes, the default baud rate is 9600, but it is configurable via Modbus commands to support 2400, 4800, 19200, 38400, and 115200 as well.
Q: Can this sensor be powered by a 12V battery source?
A: Yes, the device supports a wide input voltage range from 5V DC to 24V DC, so a 12V battery source is fully compatible.
