Essential for fermentation control

Great precision, minor wiring confusion
The sensor accuracy is spot on when compared to my calibrated thermometer. The only reason for 4 stars is that the wiring diagram on the back was a bit faint. Once I figured it out, it works flawlessly for my terrarium.

Compact and reliable
Small footprint fits perfectly inside my incubator box. The dual output feature allows me to control both heating and humidifying independently. No issues after three weeks of continuous operation.
Q: Can I use this outdoors in the rain?
A: No, the PCB and display are not waterproof. While the sensor probe itself may have some resistance to moisture, the control board must be housed in a waterproof enclosure if used outdoors.
Q: What happens if the sensor cable gets disconnected?
A: The module will detect the open circuit and display an error code (usually 'EEE' or similar) while disabling the relay outputs to prevent unsafe operation.
Q: Can this module control a 12V DC cooling fan directly?
A: Yes, the relay supports DC loads up to 30V. You can connect a 12V DC fan directly to the output terminals as long as the current draw does not exceed 10A.
Q: Is there a way to adjust the temperature differential (hysteresis)?
A: Absolutely. By holding the 'Set' button for 3 seconds, you enter the parameter menu where you can adjust the hysteresis value from 0.1°C to 5.0°C to suit your specific application needs.
Q: Does the display show both temperature and humidity simultaneously?
A: The default mode shows temperature. You can press the 'Set' button briefly to toggle the display to show humidity, or configure it to cycle between both automatically depending on the firmware version.
