Great for student projects

Good value, small size
Works as described. The size is incredibly compact which fits well in tight enclosures. Only giving 4 stars because the wires are a bit short for some applications, but easily extendable.

Plug and play simplicity
No complex setup required. Just connect red to positive and black to negative. The display lights up immediately. The build quality feels solid for the price point.

Perfect for my drone battery project
This little module is exactly what I needed. The readings are consistent with my multimeter, and the LED display is bright enough to see outdoors. Very easy to solder onto my custom PCB.

Decent but gets warm
The module works fine for monitoring, but I noticed it gets slightly warm when connected to a 24V source for extended periods. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind for enclosed spaces.

Accurate and reliable
I bought five of these for different projects. All of them calibrated perfectly out of the box. The voltage drop is negligible, making it great for low-power sensing tasks.
Q: Is the display readable in direct sunlight?
A: The red LED display is quite bright and generally readable in indirect sunlight. In direct, harsh sunlight, visibility may be reduced, but it remains faintly visible.
Q: Does it come with pre-soldered headers?
A: No, the module comes with loose red and black wires already attached to the input pads. You will need to solder your own connections to the output side if integrating into a larger circuit.
Q: Can I power the module with exactly 3.0V?
A: Yes, 3.0V is the minimum operating voltage. However, at the lower end of the range, the LED brightness might be slightly dimmer compared to higher voltages.
Q: What is the maximum current this sensor can handle?
A: This is a voltage detection module, not a current sensor. It draws less than 15mA for its own operation. It does not measure or pass high load currents through the board itself.
Q: Can this module measure AC voltage?
A: No, this module is designed strictly for DC voltage detection ranging from 3V to 28V. Using it with AC sources may damage the unit.
