Good value, small magnet
The sensor works flawlessly and responds instantly. My only minor complaint is that the included magnet is quite small, so you need to be precise with alignment. Otherwise, great product.

Exactly what I needed

Perfect for DIY Security Projects

Solid performance
Works as expected for detecting position limits on my robot arm. The response time is fast enough for my application. Would buy again if I need more sensors.
Q: Can I use this outdoors?
A: The PCB itself is not waterproof. If used outdoors, it must be housed in a weatherproof enclosure to protect it from moisture and dust.
Q: Does this module work directly with 3.3V logic levels?
A: Yes, the module operates comfortably within the 3.3V to 5V range, making it compatible with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
Q: Does the package include connecting wires?
A: No, the package includes the sensor module and the magnet only. You will need to provide your own jumper wires for connection.
Q: Is the magnet strong enough to work through a thin wooden door?
A: Yes, the detection distance is approximately 15mm, which is sufficient for most standard interior doors or thin wooden panels.
Q: What is the maximum current the reed switch can handle?
A: The internal reed switch is rated for a maximum of 500mA. For higher loads, we recommend using the module to trigger a relay or MOSFET.
