Good quality, clear instructions needed
The hardware is solid and the LM393 chip is reliable. I deducted one star because it doesn't come with a printed pinout diagram, but a quick online search solved that. Works great with 5V logic.

Reliable light detection
Using this to trigger a relay when the room gets dark. It has been running stable for three weeks now. The potentiometer allows for fine-tuning which is essential for varying ambient light conditions.

Perfect for my Arduino night light project

Excellent for learning electronics

Great bundle with dupont lines
Arrived quickly and the included jumper wires were a nice touch, saving me a trip to the store. The sensor reacts instantly to changes in light intensity. Very satisfied with this purchase.
Q: Can this be powered directly by a 9V battery?
A: No, the operating voltage range is 3.3V to 5V DC. Connecting it directly to a 9V battery may damage the comparator chip. Please use a voltage regulator or a 5V power source.
Q: Is the sensitivity potentiometer easy to adjust without tools?
A: The potentiometer is a small trimmer type. While it can be turned by hand, we recommend using a small non-conductive screwdriver or a plastic tuning tool for precise adjustments.
Q: Does this module provide an analog output signal?
A: The 4-pin version typically provides both digital (DO) and analog (AO) outputs, while the 3-pin version usually offers only the digital switch output. Please check the specific product variant images for pin labeling.
