Works as expected
No complaints here. It reads PT100 sensors accurately. The only minor issue is that the documentation could be slightly clearer regarding the reference resistor selection, but online forums helped.

Good accuracy, needs careful wiring
The sensor provides accurate data once set up correctly. You must ensure your wiring is short and shielded to avoid noise interference, which is standard for RTDs. The library support is excellent.

Perfect for Arduino Projects

Great for fermentation monitoring
I used this to monitor temperatures in my brewing setup. It handles the moisture well inside the enclosure and gives precise readings throughout the fermentation process. Very satisfied.
Q: Does the package include the PT100 probe itself?
A: No, this listing is for the breakout board module only. The PT100 or PT1000 temperature probe must be purchased separately and wired to the terminal blocks on the module.
Q: Can I connect multiple modules to one SPI bus?
A: Yes, you can daisy-chain or select multiple modules by connecting their CS (Chip Select) pins to different GPIO pins on your microcontroller while sharing the CLK, MISO, and MOSI lines.
Q: Is a 5V logic level compatible with this board?
A: The module operates at 3.3V logic levels. If you are using a 5V microcontroller like an Arduino Uno, you should use a logic level converter or ensure your board has 3.3V tolerant SPI pins.
Q: What is the maximum cable length recommended for the RTD sensor?
