Works but requires some coding knowledge
The hardware is fine, but if you aren't familiar with parsing serial data, you might struggle initially. Once configured, it provides good insights into room air quality.

Good sensitivity, needs calibration time
The sensor works well once it warms up. Make sure to let it run for at least 3 minutes before taking serious readings. The formaldehyde detection is a nice bonus feature for new furniture testing.

Excellent data consistency
Running this 24/7 connected to a Raspberry Pi. The data stream is consistent and hasn't drifted much over the last month. Very satisfied with the build quality.

Perfect for my smart home project
This module integrated seamlessly with my ESP32 setup. The UART communication is stable, and the CO2 readings seem accurate when compared to my reference meter. Great value for a 3-in-1 sensor.

Solid performance for the price
I've been using this to monitor my office ventilation. The VOC spikes correctly detect when I use cleaning sprays. Only minor issue is the cable length could be longer.
Q: Can this sensor detect carbon monoxide (CO)?
A: No, this specific 3-in-1 model detects VOCs, CO2, and Formaldehyde only. It does not detect Carbon Monoxide (CO). Please check our specialized CO sensors for that requirement.
Q: Does this module require an external library for Arduino?
A: While you can write your own parser, we provide a sample Arduino library on our GitHub repository to help you get started quickly with reading the UART data.
Q: Is the sensor pre-calibrated from the factory?
A: Yes, each unit undergoes factory calibration. However, for high-precision applications, we recommend performing a fresh air baseline calibration after installation.
Q: Does it come with a connector or just pins?
A: The module comes with standard 2.54mm pitch pins soldered. Connectors are not included but can be easily attached using standard Dupont wires or jumper cables.
Q: What is the power consumption during operation?
A: The typical operating current is around 80mA at 5V. We recommend using a stable power supply to ensure accurate readings during the heating element's warm-up phase.
