Perfect for DIY Smart Lock Projects

I used the ZW101 model for a custom smart lock build. The UART communication is straightforward, and the recognition speed is impressively fast. Documentation could be slightly better, but the community support fills the gaps.

Reliable and Low Power

Great sensor for battery-operated devices. The sleep mode current draw is exactly as specified. I deducted one star because the initial calibration process took a few tries to get right.

Excellent Accuracy

Bought the ZW111 for an office access system. It rarely fails to recognize registered fingerprints, even with slightly dry fingers. Very happy with this purchase.

Q: What is the maximum number of fingerprints that can be stored?

A: Depending on the specific sub-model, the internal flash can typically store between 50 to 100 fingerprint templates. Please refer to the specific datasheet for the exact capacity of your unit.

Q: Does this module come with a mounting bracket or frame?

A: The standard module does not include a mounting bracket. However, we offer separate plastic rings and metal frames compatible with the ZW series that can be purchased individually.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes, we ship to most countries worldwide via DHL and FedEx. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by location and are calculated at checkout.

Q: Can this sensor work with wet fingers?

A: While the capacitive sensor has some tolerance for moisture, performance may decrease with very wet fingers. It is designed primarily for normal indoor conditions.

Q: Is there an SDK available for Arduino integration?

A: Yes, we provide a basic Arduino library and example code on our official GitHub repository. It supports UART communication for all ZW models listed.
