Excellent build quality
The soldering points are clear, and the Fresnel lens snaps on securely. It detects human motion reliably even in low light conditions. Highly recommended for security prototypes.

Perfect for Arduino Projects
This sensor works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The detection range is accurate, and the adjustment pots for time and sensitivity are very responsive. Great value for money.

Good sensitivity, needs calibration
The module is sensitive enough to detect movement across the room. I had to spend some time tweaking the delay potentiometer to get the exact timing I needed for my hallway light project.

Great for beginners
As someone new to sensors, this was easy to wire up following online tutorials. The only reason for 4 stars is that the documentation included in the package was minimal, but online resources filled the gap.

Consistent performance
I have been running this sensor continuously for two months as part of an automated lighting system. It has not given any false positives and the power consumption is incredibly low.
Q: Can this sensor detect pets like cats or dogs?
A: Yes, it can detect pets depending on their size and heat signature. You may need to adjust the sensitivity potentiometer to avoid false triggers from smaller animals.
Q: How do I switch between single trigger and continuous trigger modes?
A: There is a jumper cap on the PCB labeled 'H' and 'L'. Placing the jumper on 'H' enables continuous trigger mode, while 'L' sets it to single trigger mode.
Q: What is the maximum voltage this module can handle without damage?
A: The operating voltage range is DC 4.5V to 20V. We recommend staying within 5V to 12V for optimal stability and longevity of the component.
Q: Is the output signal compatible with 5V microcontrollers like Arduino?
A: Absolutely. The module outputs a 3.3V TTL signal, which is recognized as a HIGH state by 5V logic microcontrollers such as the Arduino Uno and Mega.
